Activities

RECS International is a promotor of a solid policy framework for cross border trade of renewable energy.

RECS International is an expertise group in dialogue with national and European governments about a harmonized approach on renewable energy trading, with a focus on cross border trade and internal market.

RECS International encourages the use of the standardized European Energy Certificate System (EECS), promotes the use of standard contracts in renewable energy certificate trading, as well as the Quality Standard.

Consumers of renewable energy can contact RECS International to apply for the Quality Standard, creating transparency and facilitated by EECS.
