RECS International promotes a pan-European renewable electricity market, facilitated by a commonly accepted and harmonised European information system.

In order to create this European market RECS International believes that the policy framework for renewable energy needs to be changed. The directive for renewable energy is considered as important and of course the way the directive is implemented by the member states. For this reason RECS International stays in close contact with the European Commission and national governments.

To be effective in its lobby activities RECS International is in dialogue with a number of stakeholders and has set up a close cooperation with some of them.

RECS International is a lobby organisation and publishes documents, memos and organizes events to make clear its position.
