On 8 November 2019 RECS International will host, in collaboration with CEZ, a one-day workshop on the implementation of Article 19 of the recast Renewable Energy Directive (RED-2).
The workshop will take place in Prague and will cover the Czech policy framework for the renewable energy market as well as providing an introduction to the European Energy Certificate System (EECS) and the current functioning of European renewable energy markets.
The workshop is intended to inform Czech policy makers and market players about the implications for Member States of updated article on guarantees of origin in the EU RED-2, which entered into force in December 2018 and which must be implemented by Member States by July 2021.
