We do this by supporting the development of new energy attribute certificate (EAC) markets and strengthening those already in place. RECS National GO Day – Norway

RECS National GO Day – Norway will take place on 18 November 2025 in Oslo, Norway, and will bring together energy market participants, policymakers, corporate buyers, and system operators for a focused dialogue on the role of Guarantees of Origin (GOs) in driving Norway’s renewable energy future. This event will explore key themes such as the implementation of EU legislation in the Norwegian context, the influence of international frameworks like SBTi and GHGP, and strategies to increase domestic demand for renewable electricity. Through dynamic panels, expert insights, and open discussion, the programme will highlight how Norway can inspire more ambitious GO policy and practice across Europe. Hosted by RECS, the event will include a full day of sessions, networking opportunities, and a showcase of best practices from across the continent.

Open Markets Committee (OMC) 2025

The OMC (Open Markets Committee) is an in-person meeting for both RECS Members and members of the Association of Issuing Bodies. It provides both member groups with the opportunity to meet and discuss developments in and interactions between European Guarantee of Origin (GO) systems and markets. This year’s OMC will be held in Dessau, Germany, on Wednesday, 21 May 2025, at The UBA | Umweltbundesamt.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.

UK REGO Day 2024

The UK REGO Day will be held on Thursday, 5 December 2024 from 10.00-17.00 at the Hilton London Canary Wharf Hotel. The UK's REGO market continues to show robust growth and dynamism with REGO being among the most valuable European Energy Attribute Certificates. The day's program will dive deeply into the UK REGO market by covering volumes and prices, regulatory developments, the perception of REGOs in the UK, and full disclosure and other developments in REGO markets. After the UK REGO day, registered delegates are invited to join RECS, ACT Group, and SmartestEnergy for drinks on Thursday, 5 December 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Please note that this drinks event will have some snacks, but no dinner. INTERESTED IN ATTENDING? The registration fee for RECS members is £100 ex VAT, for non-RECS members the fee is £200 ex VAT until 25 November. As of 25 November, the registration fee increases to £200 ex VAT for RECS members and £300 ex VAT for non-RECS members.
